CEO: £75m bonus; staff: up to £3.15 less per hour than the Living Wage

Major homebuilding company Persimmon has been all over the press for offering £200 million in bonuses to three executives. Because of shareholder activism, they trimmed those bonuses down. Chief Executive Jeff Fairburn took a cut and is only getting a £75 million bonus this year.

It's still an outrageous pay deal. Not least because the workers building Persimmon homes aren't even guaranteed a real Living Wage.

The Persimmon annual general meeting (AGM) with its shareholders is just around the corner. We will be there to ask the company to accredit as real Living Wage employers.
